2016 NCAA Women's Nordic Finals, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

2016 NCAA Women's Nordic Championships, Steamboat Springs, Colorado
15K Classical 

The University of Colorado hosted this years NCAA Cross Country Championships at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  It was a warm sunny day for the women, who started their 15k, three lap race at 11AM.  The crowd lined the start as well as the steeper climbs cheered these women on.  

Linn Erikwen of the University of Denver, number 2, took the win in 54 min 37 sec.

Mary O'Connell of Dartmouth finished 11th.  Dartmouth isn't at 6700ft.  
The air at altitude is a bit thin.

2015 USA Pro Challenge Stage 6 Fort Collins Men's Race

Here are a few photos from Stage 6 of the USA Pro Challenge Men's Race finish in Fort Collins.

 Javier Megias of Team Novo Nordisk, sprinted to earned a podium finish.  The best finish to date for the Spaniard in a major U.S. race.  




Roman Kreuziger (TCS), (Javier Megias(TNN), and Leonardo Basso (TFR) were 1, 2, and 3 on today's stage.   


 Kiel Reijnen (UHC) is in the Spnter's Jersey.  


 Rohen Dennis (BMC) took the KOM today.  

Roman Kreuziger (TCS) took the Most Aggressive Rider's Jersey.  

Alexandr Braico (JBC) is wearing the Best Colorado Rider's Jersey. 


Tao Geoghegan Hart (BDT) rounded out the podium with the Best Young Rider's Jersey.

2015 USAPCC Woman Stage 2, Fort Collins

This was the first road race for Woman in the USA Pro Challenge.  The day before, the woman race a time trial in Breckenridge. 
The day was hot, windy, and smoke from wild fires in the northwest didn't make the day any too easy.
To record this historic event, I tried to photograph every rider that crossed the finish line in Fort Collins. I apologize if I missed you.
