2016 NCAA Women's Nordic Finals, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

2016 NCAA Women's Nordic Championships, Steamboat Springs, Colorado
15K Classical 

The University of Colorado hosted this years NCAA Cross Country Championships at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  It was a warm sunny day for the women, who started their 15k, three lap race at 11AM.  The crowd lined the start as well as the steeper climbs cheered these women on.  

Linn Erikwen of the University of Denver, number 2, took the win in 54 min 37 sec.

Mary O'Connell of Dartmouth finished 11th.  Dartmouth isn't at 6700ft.  
The air at altitude is a bit thin.
